EdenSphere Characters: Silverfoot the Wolfen and Eto the Raptor May come back and add a background someday. Lots of anatomy errors. I was trying to draw a tricky action pose with the wolf and it came off rather weird instead, like the bottom half does not want to go the same direction as the top half. I am pleased with the anatomy of the feet and I like how her face turned out. I left a lot of detailing out of Eto, just suggesting feathers here and there. He also came off rather cute and fluffy and bird-like which I am happy about. Eh. Main purpose though was stress relief from moving/packing.

My half of an art trade with Dwelian. I love this character and I'm glad I got an opportunity to draw her, it gave me a chance to experiment with designing tack and that was fun and challenging. Trying to come up with tack that actually looks functional is not as easy as it seems!

So my major stress relief of late has been doodling in that little 5.5 X 8 inch, black hard covered sketch book I have. I forgot how soothing it can be to hide away somewhere with a sketch book and some pens and pencils and make art, not being tied to a desk or a certain room, I can do it in my car, in a lawn chair on the porch or in a café drinking a latte. Thought I’d share some more art from that sketch book, sorry for the crappy digital photos, I’m too lazy to excavate my old scanner and press it into service again. Once again, done with micron pens and colored pencils.

ACEO/ART Card for Sage Brush. This is a very tiny space to work in, 2.5 X 3.5 inches about the size of a credit card, it is is an interesting challenge to work with. Also a challenge for me is using real media, I'm such a digital junkie these days. I must admit though I did the preliminary sketch on my computer to work out the composition and pose before printing it out and transferring it with tracing paper to thick water color paper for inking and coloring. Real media: micron pens and colored pencils.
